Yell Saccani

“A recording of feelings. It is not sensible. It is not easily deciphered. It is not meant to be understood. It is meant to be felt.”

Yell Saccani is both a photographer and a model for her own imagery. She creates powerful images through blurring her photographs by using a slow shutter speed, possibly around 10 seconds. Saccani usually works with black and white, and a sepia effect, but occasionally uses bright colours catching your attention.

I think I responded well to Yell Saccani's work. I took a photo shoot of long exposure images and chose which was most suitable. I also tried to use the some technique as he did, making the image interesting. Just Like Yell Saccani, the photographs are not as easy as a regular photograph to make out. I have demonstrated many strengths in this experiment when using Saccani's work, but also think my photo shoot could have been better. Some of my images are dark and a little hard to see, to improve this i edited the photographs.
